Under no circumstances put the clutch/drive shaft back together without having the pressure plates turned.
While you are there you should probably also replace part numbers 2, 3, 4, 6, the 21s and 25, thoroughly check and replace as necessary numbers 1, 8, 10 and 29.

It is worth the money to put it back together right the first time and not worry about it for the next 40 years, in place of pulling it back out every couple of years to replace a part that should have been replaced the first time around, plus whatever other damage this part caused.
