No grease
Hello. I am in the process of redoing a 48" deck with the same wheels and the reason no one greases them is because on mine the grease gun will not attach correctly and the grease goes on the outside of the fitting. I took a burr and cut a small portion of the wheel away to allow the gun to align correctly. Then I tried the gun and the fitting would not take grease. I removed the zerk and found the internal spring and check ball to be rusted solid. It looked like it had NEVER been greased. By the way, that is a good price for the bushings.
