I was not sure were to list this so here it is.

I have been looking for a bigger single cylinder to put in place of the 12 hp in my 1211. I am alittle confused on the blocks. Some people have told me there are wide and narrow blocks,and some have told me that just the oil pans are different. I have found two 14 hp's and one 16hp. Can someone give me the lowdown on what I need to know,look at,or for,to make sure the one I get will work for me?

I always assumed they(kohler's) were all the same,per respected hp, and didn't matter what they came in.
