Cub cadet 72
I just picked this up yesterday....woohoo another toy to tinker with. CUB CADET 72 from feb. 1969. It has a 38in. deck, sleeve hitch, and a 3 point hitch. I will be starting the restore process soon.
It was shedded in a corner for the last 10yrs and previously seems to have seen little use as the bar for the undercarriage pivot point doesn't even have any wear to speak of.
It runs and drives and cuts grass, but the carb. needs some definite attention.
The lil 72 was in the corner and the shed had a fire so u will see some crackling from the heat on paint, but seems everything else is intact and operational.
Will someone please let me know what the additional holes on the top by gear shift are from. Kinda looks like it used to have a creeper gear maybe... but what about the 3 holes directly below the shifter????
I also picked up a non running 125 today with a sleeve hitch. Only other item it has is the original owners manual.
have a good day and as always comments are welcome and appreciated.
