I have four of the old Homelite Super EZ's and two of the Super XL saws.

In their day, I don't think they could be beat for cutting power or reliability for a non-commercial use.

Modern chains saws rev up about twice the rpm and will cut much faster even though the old Homelite really never would bog down due to lack of power.
