Thanks SGragg for looking. I don't think the lawn and garden batteries are correct for these diesels. I have the owners manual and it didn't tell me what I wanted to know. I went to the local Cub Cadet dealer today and gave them the part number for the battery as shown in the owners manual (725-3174). I was looking for dimensions since I don't know what the battery box looks like and also CCA requirements. I was told by the owner (in another state) that it was mounted down low in front and required a short battery. All the dealer could tell me is it is 500 CCA and they would have to order me a battery to get the other info. (Their cost is $169) I have a Group 24 Marine battery which is 625 CCA. I will just take that with me to get it loaded on my trailer and worry about sizes later.
