Thanks for replies. I bypassed the switches and can turn the motor over with the starter hooked directly to the battery, so it is somewhere up in the control panel. What I believe happened is when I was grinding on the front of the axle carrier, I didnt disconnect the neg. terminal and caused an arc and fried a point in one of the switches. At this point I am taking the machine to a reputable repair shop tomorrow, I have a few other things I want adressed while its there( toe in adjustments and wheel bearings) Also, noticed that the brake pedal saftey metal flap was pressure fitted to the front of the switch to keep it engaged constantly.
