Unfortunately only the very early cub cadets had steering wheels without the plastic covering the whole wheel. That is why this is suck a hot topic because we'd all like to find a good way to remove the wheels without damaging them if they are still in good shape. If they aren't in good shape, a good option is to break the plastic off around the hub and put a 3-jaw puller on it.
