Looks like its coming from behind the flywheel, not just alittle, alot. And of course, the flywheel is throwing it everywhere. Its the KT17 series ll
after just a few minutes running, major oil slick. I'm thinking seal, but can a bad seal leak that much in just a few minutes? Also, is it a big job to change this out?

I had this same problem with my KT17 series 1 and it turned out to be the seal plug that goes in the hole where the camshaft is bored. It is behind the flywheel and looks like a small freeze plug. There is one on each end of the camshaft bore. You can get the right size at the autoparts store and seal it with a little silicone when you tap it back in. I had to take the engine out and remove the flywheel to get to it.
