In thinking about this the oil sensor is probably not the problem because all it does is turn on a light on the dash. The white wire also should not be the problem because it is only to shut the engine off and it is not powered. So the only thing left is the wire that comes from the voltage reg. See what happens if you isolate that. You should be able to unplug the regulator.Hang in there sooner or later we will get it sorted out, may burn up a couple thousand fuses but we will figure it out.
