2-spring pto on 127
I've recent started to restore a 127 that I purchased 2 years ago. The PO buggered up a bunch of stuff including the pto. It appears that the pto was a homemade hybrid. The pulley appears to be the 2-spring type with the 3 notches around the edge, but the spring was the smaller type that has the ends bent over. My question is this: if I rebuild this with the two springs the way it was designed, will this work on my 127 or will it be too much for the rock shaft? Would it be better/possible to leave one of the springs off?
