Just finished up my 149 Resto mod. Didn't touch the hydro pump other than add auto relief valves and completely drain fluid from the system.

Problem is when the tractor is turning over i can hear what sounds like a grinding noise that sounds like its coming from the hydto pump. If I start it quickly with the wheels elevated I don't hear the grinding but have inconsistent wheel rotation. I'm sure the linkage needs to be adjusted.

I replaced the hytrans fluid and filter.

Any suggestions? Could it be that I need to prime the pump? If do how do I do that.
