Thank you, the paint on my 1200 is the original paint. The guy I traded with told me his dad bought it brand new in 1979 and used it to mow with. He said it was only 5 or 6 years after his dad bought it that it started running rough so instead of fixing it his dad parked it in barn for 12 years. After his dad passed away he said he took it and just parked it in his shed and never messed with it cause he had a zero turn mower and it sat in his shef till last spring when I traded for it. After I got it home I found out it was missing welch plug in carb and was sucking air. I rebuilt carb cause it was nasty from sitting, tuned up tractor, changed fluids, sharpened blades and put ag tires on it. All guages work which only show 489 hours and counting and front and rear lights work. I almost got a virtually brand new 1200.
