I paid $125 for one that was not in good condition. The price of $300 is not unreasonable. Here's the catch. It can be addictive and it can cost you a lot of money depending what you want to do with it. I would suggest you buy it, bring it home, take some pictures to post on here, and get ready for some work and fun. Great machines. Makes me smile when I fire up the 147  lots of pictures of them on here and folks that can help you.
