I did manage to finally get a new 44A deck for my 1650 project today.

If you don't recall, I broke mine down and took the big parts to the sandblaster last year, and he had me drop it off in front of his shop. It was stolen from his property, apparently.

After a long struggle to get him to find me a replacement deck, I finally found one on CL that the guy delivered to his shop, and he paid for it.

I just picked it up this morning, and the good news is that it's in better shape than the one he lost! The housing and belt covers are in very solid shape.

So now I still have (I think) two good spindles from the old deck to keep as backups.

The bad news is, it's all going into storage tomorrow until I can get a place to get back to work on it again.
