I think I'm hoping for too much here. I'd like to have a 7hp gear model from the 60s or 70s. I have no idea what this is. Looks to me like the motor is turned kattywhompus (horizontal but the crank goes from side to side). I thought the hood looked old. I don't know about those vents. The asking price is $125. He says it starts but won't run and that's all I know. If I knew what it was I would know if it was worth the trip to see it.
