Default Throttle Control rod

If you are looking straight at the Carb,The first rod that passes thru the Carb,is the CHOKE control(that would be the first flap) behind that is the TH.CTRL.rod(that would be the 2nd flap)It is a part of the Carb itself. It connects to the throttle linkage on the opposite side of the engine. If you have play,(up,down, side to side),ity's the rod that is worn out NOT the Carb housing,They may sell a replacement Carb,But, I haven't checked it out yet.You can download a parts list @ Briggsand Stratton.com. You will need the Model#,the Type#,and the Code #.off of the engine. The numbers are stamped in the sheet metal heat shield. If that's your'e problem, and you can get the part, let me Know where you found it,and I'll buy one for mine.Good luck!
