I am planning on wiring the grote to the headlight switch, and am thinking of running the white light in parallel with the grote and possibly adding a switch near the white light to turn it off separately from the grote.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome! Thanks!
Just went through this on my 108. Put a pair of the Grote lights on, wired with the headlights. The toggle switch on my dash is a DPDT, so I wired it "UP" for headlights and tail lights, and "down" for a separate (LED) backup light. "center" is off. (I run dedicated grounds to all the lights) It's just an ordinary toggle switch. If your tractor is exposed to the weather a lot, you'll want a marine grade (Carling makes them) switch. Not sure what the cub cadet switch is, the one on my 149 seems to have three positions, but I haven't had time to check it out. If it does, it might serve the same purpose.
