I have installed a creeper gear on my 122. Cut the shaft at line and installed coupler. Also installed new main spring, throw out bearing and teaser spring and disk. engine is at machine shop for a rebuild. Installed assembly on tractor but rod will not reach attach point unless I compress the spring. This leaves the disk loose and the main spring is almost completely compressed. I can make the adjusting rod about an inch longer and it will have tension again. Any thoughts?
