the chart is the last digits of the SN...in my case the number is 2050063U 546100 so it says it was built in March 1975 (based on the 546100). The 2050063 designates the factory I guess and the U says built in the USA. My 1250 SN plate is on the left side (carb side) rail just ahead of the seat.
