Here's my take on the situation:

First of all, if you ask for someone's opinion and experience on something like Hytran, and they give it to you, don't turn around and rake them over the coals for their opinion. If you don't like an answer for something, don't ask.

Second of all, I have larger IH and Farmall tractors. In the big tractors, I use the Farm and Fleet equivalent of Hytran cause they take 15-20 gallons of the stuff, $$$$$$$. On my cubs, I buy and use only Hytran from my local IH/Cub Cadet dealer. I feel I'm money ahead by biting the bullet and putting in Hytran and I'm not made of money, either. Most IH dealers have Hytran in bulk containers and if you take your own, clean container, they'll pump you out a gallon or five gallons for a cheaper price than buying the premeasured Hytran.

FWIW, my two cents worth and opinion.
