I will have to agree with everyone here and say spend the extra for the factory mounts. Also I installed mine per the included instructions, and it would rattle your teeth out at anything other than idle
. I then followed the advice I found on this site and loosened them to the point one thread was showing past the top of the nut, and now my 1450 is almost as smooth as my 1000 was. Just figured I would share my experience, as I dealt with the vibration for over a year, and got sick of it sounding like it was going to rattle to pieces.
