Well painting here in Georgia is almost year round.

When it does get cold I do two things.

1. After I blast / and or clean the part up I'm going to paint I use a space heater to warm the part up.

2. While this is going on I put the can of paint or paint canister around the heater to get it warm as well or just keep it upstairs until your ready to paint.

With small parts this works pretty well and on the larger parts two heaters.

This is my Jeep block I painted last year when the weather was cold and it was painted outside with rattle cans. Still looks as good as it did 3K miles and 10 months ago.
