Squealing PTO Clutch
After replacing the two idler pulleys on the mule drive to my 1440, I've reduced the metal-to-metal squealing when my mower deck is in operation (shot bearings in pulleys). The remaining squealing/grinding is coming from the 18 year old PTO clutch at the point of engagement and disengagement. Are there any lube points on the clutch and if so, where? If not, can it be adjusted? If not, does that necessitate a new $200+ clutch? Everything works fine but the high-pitch metal-on-metal noise has got to go!
Much thanks in advance,
