Glad I found you guys. There is tons of good information here. The first cub I was around was my Dad's 104. I don't even remember it ever having a deck on it, we just used it for moving stuff around. The next one was a 1250 that my Dad got at a garage sale and now the pieces that are left reside in my yard!! The cub I spend my free time tinkering with is a 682 with the original KT17 series 1. This tractor was given to me by a man who bought it from a friend, took it home and was going to give it a tune up. (Points, condenser, plug, filters) After his tune up he could never get it to run again. I got it home and found that he had switched up some of the wiring and it was going again. I called the man back and offered to give him back the cub, but he did not want it due to the fact that it had set up so long the deck spindles were froze up. Win for me!!!

There is still a ton for me to find out about these machines so expect alot of questions. Thanks for the GREAT site.
