Yeah, you have to watch "dissing" the cheapies, someone reading the thread just may have one. I'm pretty hard on the Lowes Depot stuff myself, but have to say that I've gotten 5 years of dependable use out of a Troy Built "Gardenway" MTD rider/mower and it still runs and cuts like a champ. I was even the second owner!
