Thanks guys, it's a good feeling to have it up and running again. Sad to report we did not make it all the way to "sub super" status. I took a close look at the steering brakes, and could tell it was not as easy as cutting the assembly off of the 2072, and welding it on to the 782. The shorter frame of the 782 did not allow enough room. The spot where it would hav to go, was right where the lift arms hang down, and the mower deck mule drive folds up. I took a couple of pictures, maybe they will help illustrate;
The first one is the pivot point of the pedal assembly on the 2072, notice the bracket where the foot board mounts;
Now the same area on the 782, see how the the lift for the deck siccors up, right in the same area? That's not something I wanted to try and alter.
Other than that the power steering is working great, it seems to trun tighter to the left, than turning right? Not sure why that is? I tool it apart and checked the settings, it looks ok to me?
The front hydro ports are on, along with the controls. The hydro valve is leaking some hytran, when the "lift" is engaged, that may need more attention.
I plan to change the oil tonight, and address the front wheel spacers.
