A lot of parts for that Briggs engine are NLA...it would be best to find a Kohler from a similar vintage CC 1000/1200/1250/1450/1650 and use that.

Wheel weights and fluid in the tires will help too. You are starting off at a disadvantage because the rearend in the 1100 is significantly lighter than the normal rearend found in the rest of the Cub Cadet garden tractors.
