In the wide axle carrier I knocked a llitle loose,( very easily ). It is magnetic, so I know it is iron. My question is should I continue or leave it alone. At some point over the years something metal ( I think) got mashed between the teeth of the sliding 2nd gear. The bottom 2nd gear looks like it was barely affected. I was able to clean up the teeth on the sliding gear with a stone. Sorry I don't have pictures though. Any thoughts anyone? Thanks
Leave it alone it to seal the cast iron.
