I want to clean out my hydro lift, which used to have 10w30 oil in it, but it has all been drained out. I plan on running Hy-tran in it. Do I need to "flush" out the 10w30 residue first before I add the Hy-tran or can I just add it into the reservoir? I've heard that some people use brake cleaner to clean out all of the residue of oil and then leaving the cap off to let it air dry for a couple of days before changing to a different fluid. I wasn't for sure if I needed to do this extra cleaning or not. Anyone have experience in this matter? All advice is appreciated!!
