Default hydro hard starting

you may want to get a manual ,and go through the adjustments ,,as for the low compression ,it wont show very good ,because of the c/r ,holds the exhaust valve stays open till you reach 600 rpm ,thats where the low compression comes in ,however 25 is low ,,if you want a true test ,roll the engine over back wards ,and that will tell you whats going on ,now if your c/r spring is bad ,or broke ,it will be hard to start ,but you will have good compression . there is also a tab on the c/r that holds the exhaust open from .030 to .o43 ,this should be right ,.the only way to check thids is to remove the head ,and use a dial . gope this helps .
