the shim is a machine shim 18ga. it took some doing to get it in , but shes tight now. the only play in it now is the bearings in the wheels. I'll change them out when my try ribs get here.

Your progress looks great!!

I see the bolt is now in place holding the front axle.

I hate to back you us a step, but, I have seen others just tighten that bolt to take out the slop of the frame to axle fit.

Without the shim, the axle/frame joint will be slightly stronger.
