You need to remove the rear cover to drain the oil. So you need to get that rear cover gasket before you start. You can really get in there and wipe it out good with the cover off. Some are worse than others but they all seem to have a little gunk in them.
The plug in the rear cover is where you refill, That is the level you fill to also.
Just keep filling till its at the bottom of the hole.
Also, be sure to get the correct hydro fluid filter and change it too!! |
An additional question to this process. Does the fluid for lift come from here also? Looking at the parts diagrams, I think I am correct in this assumption, but I just want to make sure.
