How much yard do you have to mow. What kind of light work are you talking about. For that much money, you can get an awesome cub with many attachments ready to work and last a lifetime.

Seeing that you are wanting a hydro, I would suggest a Cub 129, 149 (workhorse for the cub line), 169 (rare hard to find), or the Quiet line series, a 1450, or 1650. Then there is the 82 series such as a 682, 782, 1811 and 1812. The 82 series uses a twin cylinder engine and is very smooth running compared to the single cylinder engines in the previous mentioned models. But they are all outstanding and should do whatever you need.
