Default Repower

A few things got done today. As you can see I got the engine mounted but first I had to build a 3/4" riser to line up the driveshaft height. I used the old Kohler block,crank and adapter coupling as a reference. The PTO clutch bolted right up with out any problem, except my so call basket case Kohler engine was missing one stud bolt for mounting the clutch. That shouldn't be a problem. The choke cable is long enough but the throttle cable will have to be extended. The starter on the Briggs is on the right side so I will be extending the starter cable too.

As you can see I still need to figure out the driveshaft hook up. I think I'm going to be extending it beings the crank is about 4" shorter than the Kohler.
