sorry I dont know if they are fine or not. about the carrier, I called the cub dealer to see if they had the gasket for the cover. I gave him the S/N from it. they had it . so I drove over and it wasn't the right one. I had a pic on my cell phone ,and showed him. he went back to the computer and grabbed another gasket. and said , this one is for the 582 special. thats the one that fit it.
I thought the 582 and the special had the same carrier. I guess not.
