Make sure you have a good ground cable from the motor itself to the frame of the tractor ..The quietlines often lose the ground cable during an dengine swap, or they get put in the wrong place. The ISO cradle is NOT grounded to the chassis so you have to jumper to the chassis itself or the current will flow thru whatever other ground it can go thru, including choke and throttle cables. That's why it burned ya..
ANd at the back, be sure all your battery connections are clean, shiny and tight, and the ground cable to the frame is the same on the frame end.
