Those are the exact same pins any sponsor or dealer sells at a fraction of the cost plus the fact you don't have to pay shipping or wait to receive the part. They clearly state on the package they are coiled which is the same thing as spirol. I consider him very lucky that he can get them local. Cub or sponsors want more than that for one pin. I prefer buying them from McMaster Carr in a lot of 25 and it's a done deal. And I have never had a "coiled pin" fail.
