I see the two 5/8 bolts that push against the plow attachment clevis use the heads to push with I had not picked up on that yet. Makes sense from a wear stand point. I also like the idea of a rod across the bottom pivot point. I just had short pins in each side, not as stable.
Your tractor and plow did a nice job turning over that piece of ground. So does a hydro have any advantages or dis advantages when plowing? Do you have the rears with liquid in them?
Hope to get my rust cleaning tank going this weekend.

Cool, Glad to help!

Im brand new with plowing but its fun! With the single pin style plow I have I need an adapter thing that goes on the sleeve hitch before the plow is attached. The heads of the bolts have full contact on that piece. Near the bottom of my plow thread Merk posted a picture for me. He also helped me with adjusting it so it might be a good read for you. He talked about the 5/8 bolts and how mine needs adjusting to pull the plow more towards the right. Here is the thread. http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...t=plow+weights

I dont have any fluids but I do have 2 20lb Massey Ferguson 8" rim wheel weights and a log chain hidden in my under seat toolbox. Plus the 2 25lbs on the wheels. It works ok on softer soil but harder packed I did have a problem. I also noticed if you are trying to plow with high weeds the weeds plug it up and it just skims across the top.
