AJ,
I may have a problem (future) but right now all the plates linkages and joints seem to be free and moving easily. That is as compared to when I brought this tractor home the hand shfter was frozen solid in place by rust. Also some of the pivot points were totataly rusted tight too. Those were disassembled and cleaned when I split the tractor. I will try to monitor. I did check the 127 parts tractor that I got, and your right these plates do not move by hand and may be rusted tight on the shaft.
