Larry,
Great minds think alike. I did not see a reason to take it (trunnion) all apart. Adding the extra piece of steel seemed like it should help re-center the spring pack.
Haven't taken it out and tried it yet but seems to be ok the few times I went forward and backed up in the garage.
Where are all the electricians? I checked across the battery with the multimeter while running and got like 18 volts or something? Cant remember But thought that maybe this thing is charging OK?
Allen, I did take a video but its too big to get off my phone. I may try again for a shorter time.
