106 project
 

Hello, I am new to this so bare with me. I have a 106 project, it was my daily mower until my connecting rod bolts backed out? not sure why. I tore my motor down and i had my crank cleaned up, it is still good. I would like to rebuild my motor to get some more power out of it. I would like to use it to plow snow and pull in Stock garden pulls. Thanks

Welcome to the site. Some good reading on building a little more power into these engines can be found by going to kirkengines.com and reading up on David Kirk's "Killer Kohler" build. Very good starting point for a little over stock build up.
