Dad's 1650

I've been visiting this forum for a few months now to get tips and ideas so its about time I say hello. My dad bought a 1650 new in 1976(based on the serial number). My brother ran it for a few years after he bought the old house...until it died. I saved it from being traded in on his new orange tractor and stored it for a few years until I found time to work on it. Well this past December I found some time and went through just about everything that needed attention. The tractor was always taken care of pretty well but there were a lot of worn parts that needed replaced/repaired. The engine had several problems, the biggest one being the cracked head. I had no idea what the problem was while it sat in storage so I was really excited when we finally got it running. The only thing I painted was the frame, the rest of it looks pretty good still. Still needs some minor things but it works great and I just used it yesterday to aerate the yard. This is my first forum post so I hope it works.

Welcome to OCC....great looking 1650! It's one of my favorite Cubs. Your aerator looks just like mine....Is it a Brinly? I'll be using mine very soon. What part of PA are you located?

Welcome to OCC
Your Dad would be proud, and having HIS 1650 keeps his memory vivid in your heart.
My Dad left this earth 43 years ago.
Everytime I use one of his tools,
the handle is still warm from his hand.
