Popping out of reverse
My 126 pops out of reverse. Just wondering if this is repairable or should I swap rears. Thanks in advance.

I am going to bet its your shifter forks,it can be repaired by pulling the forks out and welding them,i have done it before, but you will also need to make sure that the gears are not rounded over bad enough that it will just keep popping out even if you fix the forks. If that is the case you will need to replace the gears as well, and flush the trans out.
As a side note you might be able to get some new or used forks, but i like to add some metel around it to make it a little stronger. |
Great how to in the tech section of the site made by Merk.
