Carb mods have started.

I know David Kirk was able to get a Walbro 52 apart and bored out. I was gonna try this till I got the 64's. But I noticed in my drill test if you go this route you can use Holley jets to get more adjustment. The jet will block the passage of the original needle valve.

I used that same door spring tool to remove my valve springs... Works great! Cheap too at the parts store. Or well it was many years ago. LOL

Just seen that tool today at harbor freight, I believe it was about $6.00!
