782 diesel transplant
 

First off I want to thank all the members here for the tons of information on this site. It has been invaluable in learing about these little tractors.
I was recently given a 782 with a blown KT 17 in it. I have been looking for a replacement engine for it. I came across a Kubota D600 that was removed from a Jacobson mower. It comes with everthing including the radiator. Can anybody give me an idea if I can use this engine in my 782 and how much work this swap might be.

Don't want to step on dlampo here, but I have a similar situation. Bought a 782 with a bad motor and I have a d782 kubota. I think it is slightly bigger than the 600, but I am planning on making the swap. Looks like I may need to come up with a little smaller radiator than what is currently on the kubota.
