Cub 70 with free fenders
3 Attachment(s)
I got this yesterday. It came with free fenders,Owner threw them in cause I saw them sort of hidden in his garage,It did have a creeper in it but he put it on his other one. It has nice rear tires no weather checking,Those gum dipped tires seem to last a long time.Anyone know how they were made?
Just gotta get it running. |

That is a sweet looking 70! Eventually I'd like to have one of every cub made in the 60's. Those fenders are looking great too:beerchug:

Ihcc 70
Very nice score! Lift bracket and fenders is a + ! Looks like a white motor? :bigthink: What is gum-dipped? The IHCC 70 was the replacement of the IHCC Original! Love these IHCCs!:beerchug:

The term came from the process of dipping strips of cloth in rubber until they were completely coated and uniform, and then adding the strips to tread for greater strength and flexibility. In the early years Firestone Gum- Dipped tires were the deluxe lineāthe very best. |
Gum Dipped
Never knew that, here are my Firestone 23x10.5x12 Gum Dipped tires that are from 1969. They are in perfect condition, no dry rot and great tread. They were on my 127 from the factory. Cool !!!
