NF Clutch shield
Hey guys! My 72 had a nice clutch shield and has since vannished. I would like to see some of your clutch shields.....maybe Im can make one but out of what? And is there a slot cut out for the steering leaver? I suspect these shields to be of good service for many reasons. My 71 didnot come with one. Thanks, John:bigthink:

Thanks for the links and help Jude! Come to think of it, why was one shield full of holes and the other was solid? Solid would be a good choice...all my other IHCCs have the holes in them. I was intrested in the bottom-mount clutch shield to prevent weeds from wrapping around the driveshaft or anything that may come in contact with the drive-line. I was just looking to see if any one of our members had a custom-made shield they would like to share. Something like a 12x12 inch with 4 mount holes and a slot cut out near the bottom right corner. If you look under your IHCC71 near the clutch you should see 2 small holes on each frame rail...thats what those holes are for.

You know, you may find a good used Clutch Shield by clicking on those boxes at the top of each page and contacting the sponsors. Houtz, Patton, & Cub Classics have salvage yards and just have what you want.
