Hi Guys,

today, i opened the Transmission of my CCO, it's a bad Surprise, in the Housing was a lot of Water, and all Parts are rusty.
Now, i have a big Problem.
What is to do, Repair, or Replace?

Looks like it will need to be completly taken apart, check eack part and cleaned. You may luck out on this one by the looks of it. Keep us posted.

The teeth look like they're in good shape, I'd take it apart and clean. I think you'll be fine once you get everything cleaned up, good luck.

As long as the gear teeth aren't pitted, they should be ok. I would remove and clean all of the bearings and replace them if they feel rough.

Can you post a close-up of the gear teeth themselves? Pitting on any other part of the gear wouldn't be much of an issue, but if the teeth themselves are pitted...that is bad.

I agree, pitting on the sides of the gears doesn't really mean much. How the mating surfaces look is what's important.
