starter/gen noise ??
 

On my 70, while it is running, there is a growl/whine coming from the starter

what could this be..??

any replies greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a bad bearing in the S/G if its growling....this was just discussed in another post. Is it still charging-starting ok?
